OUR HISTORY

LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON

Fred’s son, Fred Moyer Jr, joined his father’s plumbing business and worked hard for his father and brother John. He started out digging ditches during the day, attended Lehigh County Vo-Tech School at night, and eventually earning his Master Plumbing license.

After Fred Moyer Sr passed away in 1965, it was up to Fred Jr and John to keep the company going. Today, Fred is still involved with the Company and Fred's son Darren is doing most of the estimates and running the construction side of the business while Fred's daughter Melissa Moyer-Schneck handles the office work and dispatching.

STARTING BACK AROUND 1910

Fred J Moyer Plumbing Inc started back around 1910 in Allentown, PA on North 10th St. This is on the same block that we’re located now. Fred was a dedicated plumber who showed up in a horse-drawn wagon and worked all hours of the day or night until every job was complete.

A 4TH-GENERATION COMPANY

Fred J. Moyer Plumbing is very proud to have a 3rd and 4th generation continuing the family Plumbing business. With Fred's grandchildren, Darren and Melissa handling the the Estimating and the office and now Fred's Great Grandchildren with their Journeyman's license, We're very happy to know the family plumbing business is going to be good hands and will be going strong for another generation!

Nobody has been as dedicated to customers as our highly trained team that has been serving the Lehigh Valley, PA area since when we were showing up in a horse-drawn wagon.
